19th Century Bunny Hooked Rug

This is a great 1870-1890's hooked rug with one single white bunny rabbit in the center surrounded by scrolling foliage. The rug is in very good condition. It has faded to soft colors on a light tan neutral background.The bunny is white. This rug measures 35"wide by 17"high.

Early Round Tin "Pie Plate" Candle Mold

This is an early, rare, round, tin, candle mold with twelve tubes used for making candles. It has a vented silo top and has black paint. The mold measures 9.25"d by 10.25"h, with the silo it is 16" h. There are several dents in the top "pie plate".The paint is grungy and worn and I believe original .

Early Painted Wall Box

This is a wonderful dark red painted New England wall box. It measures 28" h by 11.5" w by 5" d. It is constructed from one board and is made with old square nails. The paint is a dark brownish red and is all original.

Early Red, White and Blue Quilt

Indigo blue and white with a tiny red print give this quilt a lot of charm. It measures 72' by 84". There are a few very small stains and the batting is soft in a few places but it is over all in very good condition.This quilt dates from the middle of the 19th century.

Early Slip Decorated Redware Plate

Early 19th century redware plate. Really great condition. Coggled rim and yellow slip decoration. The plate measures 8".

Early Primitive Mirror

This is a really early primitive looking glass. It has been made with square nails and has the original glass. It is pretty useless as a mirror but it is fantastic as a piece of 18th century decorative art.

Slip Decorated Redware Charger

This early redware charger has a really wild, whirly, yellow, slip design.

It measures 13.5 inches . As you can see in the photo there are some edge chips .

Early Hooked Rug with Stars and Berries

This American hooked rug is made from wool and other materials. The once off white background is shirred . The stars in the center are deep red wool as are the berries. The leaves that make up the border are a soft blue. The rug measures 27" by 43". It is in good condition . It has had a minor repair at some time.

Ceramic Saltbox

Blue Stick Sponge decorated, white, ceramic saltbox . The design is done in a cobalt blue and has SALT stenciled on the front. The wooden lid has age but is likely replaced.

Ohio Jacquard Woven Coverlet

Red, White and Blue jacquard woven coverlet signed " John Weaver Rowsburg, Ashland Co, Ohio 1851" John Weaver is listed in " A Checklist of American Coverlet Weavers" The coverlet measures 7'4" by 6"3" and is in excellent condition.
