For the past 29 years I have been actively buying and selling American country antiques. I am presently exhibiting at shows through out New England and have a room in a great shop (From Out of the Woods Antiques) in Goffstown, NH.

Volland raggedy andy and a raggedy ann

Circa 1920 16 inch Volland rag andy (his feet turn out) and a 16 inch rag ann that possibly was one of the orginal two hundred hand-crafted Anns made by the Gruelle family before the patent rights were given to Volland. Andy has had a face replacement at some time. Ann's is original to the doll. ( as is the wooden heart inserted in her chest)

16 inch black rag doll with perky pigtails and wonderful sewn eyes. She has been well loved and has a lot of personality. Probably early 20th century.

19th cen wooden doll bed with bedding

19th century wooden doll bed with acorn finials. It measures 11 3/4" x 9 1/4". The doll bed is complete with a mattress covered in early brown and white ticking, a mid 1850's salmon and brown stripe homespun fragment, and plain homespun sheet.

19th cen nest of 11 wooden picture blocks

Colorful nest of wooden picture blocks from the 19 century.
They range in size from 6 1/8" to 1 7/8" square each fitting inside of the other. There is an alphabet on the top of the largest block. All other pictures are of children and animals.
There is some wear to edges from being played with.
