Sampler verse reads May I birth innocence and peace My fleeting moments spend And when the storms of life shall cease With a firmness meet my end Sampler is in excellent condition. I apologize for glare and shadows. Bottom of sampler looks darker but it is not. Sampler color is even. Wonderful piece to add to any collection. 1842 LARGE CREWEL WORK WEDDING SAMPLER

To all my “High Country and Needlework Collectors”, being offered is a beautiful large needlework ( possibly a marriage piece) a large vase of flowers dated 1842 with the likely initials of a newly married couple EVDB and HIVDB in one corner and HMVD ( possibly the maker) in the other. LATE 1800s’BASKETS HAND STITCHED QUILT

To all my “Early Quilt Collectors” being offered is a beautiful salmon and green “Baskets” quilt dating from last part of 1800s to first part 1900s. Quilt measures 76 x 84. Slight wear to binding but very mine. Quilt backing are wide stripes of two floral pattern fabrics one in light blue and brown floral and the their in sage green floral. TULIP PAINT DECORATED BRIDES BOX DATED 1854

To all my “Early Prim and Period paint decorated Collectors” being offered is a mid 1800s’ paint decorated Brides Box with a tulip motif. Beautiful green/ blue box has bittersweet and blue tulips painted around borders on top and bottom sides. Floral motif of Cabbage Roses on lid as well. Stitched closures on box and lid. Measurements are 17 3/4” x 11 1/4” x 7 1/2”. Box is in very good condition for age. Sometime in its life the inside lid was reinforced with glued wood squares. 1700s’ BLACKSMITH MADE IRON CANDLE DRYER W/HEARTS

To all my “Early Americana Collectors” being offered is a 1700s’ rare iron Blacksmith made candle drying rack embellished with heart decoration. This was used to hang and dry dipped candles. Nice dry surface. Chest has turned legs, Dovetailed construction, lidded till and Drop Lock mechanism. Chest measures 15” x 11” x 9”. Chest has molded trim.
