What a neat wooden Case grain painted in red. The violin has a nice patina and look for any country home to decorate with by placing on mantle or chair. They were found together in New England. The case measures 29 1/2" and the widest part is 9" on bottom. If you have any questions please email us.
This rare hand painted Russian Icon is dated early 1800's. It has 4 panels depicting Jesus, Holy Mary and his Apostles. It measures 12" x 14". This was found in CT. If you have any questions please email us.
This is a primitive pitcher and a bowl that was found together. It is early and it has markings on the bottom of the pitcher, NY. It is in great condition except a small chip on the one side of top pitcher. It does not take away any of the great look. Email us for pictures. We are having difficulty loading them.

This early 19th c. Original painted period blue wooden bowl just came out of 45 yr old collection. It was with the apothecary and miniature blanket chest. It is in good condition it has one age crack. It is a fantastic piece! Measures 19" x 12" x 5". Email if you need more pictures or questions.
This large wooden mortar stands 20" H. I largest part of D is 12". It is very heavy and does have an age crack on one side. Email if you would like more details or pictures.
A WONDERFUL 18TH CENTURY SLIDING LID SPICE BOX, CONNECTICUT, CIRCA 1760-1790. EARLY HAND CUT DOVETAIL JOINT CONSTRUCTION WITH THE BEST OLD SQUARE HEADED NAILS ALL IN THE BEST ORIGINAL GRUNGY RED PAINTED SURFACE WITH GREAT PATINA. RARE 3 COMPARTMENT INTERIOR. This great box has the original bevel panel cut sliding top a hand hewn and carved finger cutout. The condition is fantastic. Only minor wear and tear and minor damage. The top is in one piece and has great shrinkage. It is paneled and it still fits tightly into the top groove. It even retains its original turned wooden knob in the front. The best part of this box is the most incredible, original, dry, oxidized, grungy, untouched dark red painted surface. Nothing has been done to the surface, but it is well worn. Compartment spice boxes are rare, especially from the 18th century. This great box is 13 1/2" long, 10 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" tall. It exhibits only the typical wear and tear you would see from OVER 200 years of use.
This child's chair came from a private home that was passed down in the family. It came from New England. The rush seat and dark wood is in very good condition. It came from a NS home. It measures approx: 28" x 13" x 11".
These are the most fabulous doors. They came from a historic building and everything in it was being auctioned off. The surface has the most amazing patina. There is a small cut out door that is simply charming. They have early hand forged hardware . The frame with doors stands 57 1/4" x 38 1/4" across the frame work, 33 1/2" across doors. It would be perfect for built in wall cupboard doors. The photographs doesn't do justice.
This lantern is a wonderful piece of lighting. It is in almost perfect with the exception of the missing clasp at the door. It will still close. It stands 14" with the hook and 8" to the lantern. It is 5" w. We offer Free shipping on this item.
This early 18th Century wooden trencher came from Maine and was found at an estate sale. It is very dry paint and no shine like the picture shows. There is wear inside from the age. It looks beautiful so primitive. The bowl measures approx: 18" x 11 1/2" x 5".
